The UC3843AN family of control ICs is an enhanced version of the UC3843AN family that is pin-for-pin compatible. This class of devices has numerous improved characteristics, including the ability to regulate current mode or switched-mode power supply. The output stage can sink at least 10 mA at less than 1.2 V for VCC above 5 V during UVLO, while the oscillator discharge is cut to 8.3 mA during startup.
