It uses the Cut Tape (CT) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. There are 5 terminations in this voltage regulator. As this regulator voltage is equipped with an analog IC of the type SWITCHING REGULATOR, it is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type voltage regulator. Due to DC DC switching regulator's space saving design, this voltage regulator is available in a TO-263-6, D2Pak (5 Leads + Tab), TO-263BA package.
