Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) Exposed Pad package. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. This DC DC switching regulator generates Fixed output on its output pins. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Surface Mount bracket.
