During packaging, the magnetic switch is protected against damage with the Tape & Reel (TR). TO-243AA, Variant packages are used to protect the magnetic switches from damage. A magnetic switch can supply a maximum current of 5.2mA if it is well designed. To be output, magnetic switches should be rated at a maximum current of 20mA.
