SD2420-002 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. Photodiodes are protected by Metal packages in order to ensure their safety. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 50V voltage. Continuously, the reverse-bias voltage should not exceed 50V for the photodiodes. Pins 2 are present on the photodiodes. Within the circuit, photodiodes are capable of releasing 125mW heat. Photodiode operation should take place at temperatures below 125°C. But the photodiodes should operate at a temperature of -55°C. It is recommended that the reverse anode voltage on the photodiodes be 50V. In reverse-biased mode, photodiodes could provide 50V. The current in a photodiode is 20nA even when there is no light input.
