PDV-V405 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. The photodiodes are put into TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages for safety protection. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 100V in continuous reverse-bias mode. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 100V continuously. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 10pA current even if no light is provided.
