PDU-C102 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages. When operating in reverse bias mode continuously, the photodiodes can withstand 30V voltage. It is recommended that the photodiodes are maintained at a constant voltage of 30V in reverse-bias mode. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 45pA current.
