PDU-C101 Overview
To protect the photodiodes, they are packed in the Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages for safety purposes. As long as the photodiodes are operated continuously in reverse-bias mode, the maximum voltage they can tolerate is 30V. Under reverse-bias mode, the voltage of the photodiodes should not exceed 30V. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 40pA electrical current.
