PDI-V485 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages for safety purposes. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 100V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 100V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 10pA current.
