PDI-V480-46 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk for protection. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into TO-46-2 Metal Can packages in order to protect them from damage. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 75V if it is continuously reverse-biased. Continuous reverse-bias should not exceed 75V for the photodiodes. When no light is input, a photodiode will conduct at 150pA current.
