PDI-V480 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to prevent damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages. The maximum voltage that the photodiodes can tolerate in reverse-biased mode is 100V over a continuous period of time. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 100V. The current in a photodiode is 10pA even when there is no light input.
