PDI-G103L Overview
In order to protect these photodiodes from damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into TO-46-2 Metal Can packages in order to protect them from damage. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 100V if it is continuously reverse-biased. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 100V continuously. It's important to have 30V breakdown voltage to make photodiodes work. The current in a photodiode is 200pA even when there is no light input.
