PDB-V216 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into Array - 16 Element packages. When reverse-biased continuously, photodiodes can withstand a maximum voltage of 50V. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse-bias mode, they should not exceed voltage 50V. There is 1nA current flowing through a photodiode even in the absence of light input.
