PDB-V106 Overview
It is important to note that these photodiodes are packaged in Bulk to prevent damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 75V voltage. The voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 75V in reverse-bias mode on a continual basis. A photodiode is capable of conducting 300pA current even without light input.
