PDB-C502-ST Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. The maximum voltage that the photodiodes can tolerate in reverse-biased mode is 100V over a continuous period of time. Continuously reverse-bias the photodiodes shouldn't exceed 100V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 45pA current.
