PDB-C440-46B Overview
As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Lens Top Metal Can packages. Continually operating in reverse-bias mode, a photodiode's maximum voltage is 75V. The voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 75V in reverse-bias mode on a continual basis. During operation of a photodiode, the temperature should not exceed 70°C. However, the minimum operating temperature of the photodiodes should be set to -15°C. The current in a photodiode is 150pA even when there is no light input.
