PDB-C137 Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in Radial, 5mm Dia (T 1 3/4) packages for safety purposes. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 50V in continuous reverse-bias mode. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 50V. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces 2nA current.
