PDB-C120-I Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-206AA, TO-18-3 Metal Can packages. When reverse-biased continuously, photodiodes can withstand a maximum voltage of 200V. A reverse-bias photodiode shouldn't exceed 200V continuously in reverse-bias mode. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 500pA electrical current.
