The Bulk protects these photodiodes from damage. Photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages in order to ensure their safety. Continuously reverse-biasing photodiodes can withstand 100V voltage. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 100V continuously. In the absence of light input, the photodiode exhibits a current of 5nA.
