PDB-C103 Overview
Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Bulk package. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 100V in continuous reverse-bias mode. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 100V continuously. Without light, a photodiode has 65pA current.
