PDB-C102 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. Photodiodes are protected by TO-46-2 Metal Can packages in order to ensure their safety. Photodiodes can only withstand 100V in reverse-bias mode indefinitely. Continuously reverse-bias the photodiodes shouldn't exceed 100V. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 45pA current.
