PDB-715-100 Overview
To prevent damage, the photodiodes are packaged in a Bulk. Photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 4 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages in order to ensure their safety. The maximum voltage that the photodiodes can tolerate in reverse-biased mode is 15V over a continuous period of time. A continuous voltage of 15V should not be applied to the photodiodes in reverse-bias mode. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 1nA electrical current.
