PDB-706 Overview
To protect these photodiodes from damage, the Bulk is used. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into TO-99-8 Metal Can packages. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 15V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 15V continuously. A photodiode is capable of conducting 1nA current even without light input.
