The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to prevent damage. A continuous reverse-bias mode can only sustain 5V voltage per photodiode. Continuously, the reverse-bias voltage should not exceed 5V for the photodiodes. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 30pA current.
