MTPD1346D-100 Overview
To protect these photodiodes from damage, the Bulk is used. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-3 Lens Top Metal Can packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 5V if it is continuously reverse-biased. It is recommended to set the reverse-bias mode for the photodiodes to not exceed 5V on a continuous basis. Despite the absence of light input, a photodiode generates 200nA electrical current.
