MTPD1346D-030 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-46-3 Lens Top Metal Can packages. In reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes are capable of withstanding a maximum voltage of 5V. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 5V. When no light is input, a photodiode will conduct at 1μA current.
