As a safety precaution, the current sensors are packaged in 4-SSIP Module packages. In order to protect the devices from damage, these current sensors are packaged in the Bulk. If the current supplied by the current sensor is greater than 14mA, then the sensor should be faulty. During operation, the current sensors may supply a voltage of 5.5V. As a general rule, current sensors should supply an electrical current of 14mA. A current sensor should produce a current output of 2mA.
