Encoders cannot operate below -40°C for the minimum operating temperature to be met. This electronic part can reach 100°C as its maximum operating temperature. A 5 pin is located on each encoder. As a safety precaution, we put the encoders into Metal packages to allow them to be handled easily and to protect them from damage.
