HEDS-5500#A14 Overview
Encoders cannot operate at temperatures lower than -40°C for proper operation. Nevertheless, this electronic part can operate at a maximum operating temperature of 70°C. 5 pins are present on the encoders. We put the encoders into Module packages to allow easy handling and to protect the devices from damage. Encoder voltage is set to 5V by the electrical power system. The maximum current that an encoder will carry for an indefinite period is 5mA. As soon as the encoder is turned on, it draws 17mA current.
