BPW46 Overview
To protect the photodiodes, they are packed in the Bulk. A safety package containing the photodiodes is provided for their protection. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 60V continuously. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. Within a circuit, photodiodes could generate 215mW heat. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 60V. A circuit should experience a maximum heat release of 215mW when photodiodes are used. As a result of the reverse voltage of 60V in a DC circuit, the photodiodes will operate properly. A photodiode is capable of conducting 2nA current even without light input.
